The little girl sits at the window holding her brown teddy bear in one hand, both of them peering out into the snow.
Her mother knitting in the rocking chair, while snow falls. Her eyes on the child, but her heart out the window, the needles clacking in her hands.
The little girls hot hand, wiping away frost. Trying to see through the snow, her eyes straining out the window.
All three of them looking for a glimmer of hope in the snow, Their hands, their eyes, and their hearts fixed on the window.
